PEX-AL-PEX Technical Structure
Ardi PEX-AL-PEX pipe is
five-layer composite pipe that combines the advantages of a
metal and plastic pipe and eliminates the disadvantages of both
materials at the same time. The aluminum core is absolutely
diffusion tight; it reliably prevents oxygen/gases from
permeating into pipe. It compensates and reduces snap-back
forces and heat expansion with changes of temperature.
Ardi multi-layer composite pipe consists of overlapped or butt
welded aluminum core with an inner and outer layer of high
temperature-resistant polyethylene. A special welding technique
ensures high reliability. All layers are permanently bonded
together by intermediate adhesive layers. The aluminum thickness
for Ardi PEX-AL-PEX pipe has been selected to meet compressive and flexural
strength requirements. |
